Floppy Mop

The Floppy Mop is a decodable text that is from the Set 3 Word Families Bob Books. The Story of the book goes through and talks about a mop dog that interacts with a cat, rat, and his owner doing silly things. Throughout the book there are short sentences on each page that use the word families,
-op and -at. It also has words that rhyme with some of the other main words in the book as well. Lastly, the book guides the beginning reader to make words with the new beginnings for those word families. Overall, I would rate the book with a 5 out of 5 rating because it was shown as a decodable text should be and showed the word families throughout the whole book. The topic was fun and enjoyable for children to be engaged!
